On Sunday the 3rd I went to see pro volleyball for free in Yokohama. A friend of Miho's sister is married to one of the players and she gave us the tickets. The game wasn't too competitive. One team completely crushed the other but it was a fun experience.
One of the most interesting things about that game was that one of the teams sponsors is currently involved in a scandal of bringing bad food to Japan from China so that team didn't have a cheering section. Their cheerleaders didn't even come. The other team was Panasonic and they were in full force with their cheering section.
Yokohama is a bit far from Tokyo and since it was snowing the journey was a little aggravating. I didn't bring an umbrella so I was left in the cold wetness of the snowfall.
